Volunteers working in the garden Thank you for your interest! The garden has closed for 2024. We hope to see you in April 2025.

Interested in volunteering at our garden?  We work in teams to coordinate our work.  Weekly shifts:

  • OVER FOR THE SEASON – Sundays 10 AM – 12 Noon:  Weeding and plant maintenance plus some harvesting.
  • OVER FOR THE SEASON – Tuesdays harvesting for neighbourhood market night.
  • OVER FOR THE SEASON – Thursdays harvesting for donation.

During the gardening seaso, check our Events page to find out when shifts are scheduled. No sign up is required; simply drop in at the scheduled time. We work rain or shine but not during thunderstorms or heavy downpours.

No experience is necessary! Tools are supplied. If you are new, please arrive prior to the start of the shift for training. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
