April 21, 2026: Walt Disney Canada – Thank you to Grace, Abby and Dayna for braving the cold and rescuing the garlic, asparagus, snow peas, radish and spinach.
April 24, 2026: Identity Digital – A large group from our Park Home neighbourhood descended on the garden on a cold April morning. They whipped the North garden into shape by weeding, composting, trenching and then finally planting our 2026 potato crop. They also pruned the raspberries and fixed the fence posts and wire around each row of raspberries. Thank you to Judy, Samay, Alex, Jon-Paul, Kroopa, Gordon, Kaylee, Mojgan, Jorge, Chris, Chery, Shadi, Xiao and Jane.
April 28, 2026: Otsuka Canada Pharmaceutical Inc – Soggy but plucky! Garrett, Brad, Christi, Rola, Rudy, Dayne, Kelvin and Abdullah braved the rain to clean up the garden, tie up the south raspberry patch and start seeds for melons, pumpkins, okra, and flowers. Thank you!

May 1, 2026: Wawanesa Mutual Insurance – Sunny day but we sure tested this team by asking them to weed the strawberries and the “chickweed” bed. Thank you to Megan, Chris, Polina, Emma, Jasna, Laura, Levon, Martina, Umbreen, Baillie and Gladys for powering through and creating a lovely space for our tomatoes to be planted.
May 28, 2026: First Capital visited for the third consecutive year! Shout out to Angie, Ashik, Brian, Ellen, Elnaz, Gerard, Graeme, Helen, Jason, Kiarash, Linhui, Lisa, Manish, Mary, Mervin, Michael, Nadia, Niveda, Rommel and Manal. They tackled weed and grass compacted beds, clearing them completely, then planted okra, squash and flowers.
September 1, 2026: Team#2 from Turner & Townsend volunteered on a very humid day to harvest and weed the orchard. Thanks to Santhosh, Marianella, Praveen, Sheryl, Adunola, Ebru, Áine, and Dima.
August 25, 2026: Tundra Technical Solutions sent their second group of volunteers to help harvest and weed around the beans. Thank you to Barnabas, Anthony, Mikhaili, Leah, Debbie, Judyta, Levi, Disha and Gauri.
July 10, 2026: Merck Canada joined us for harvesting berries and pods for the local woman’s shelter, then planting peppers and carrots and then rescue weeding the pole beans! Thank you to Heather, Roslyn, Anu, Paul, Jaclyn, Pattie, Zuzana, Nicole, Lauren, Janice, Gabriella, Tobi and Max.
July 15, 2026: A very brave group from Compass Digital worked through heavy wildfire smoke (with N95 masks) July 15th. The construction fences had just been taken down and they spent the morning clearing the weeds that had accumulated around the fences. Now it looks all ship shape for the official opening of the Norton extension! Thank you to Jack, Hamid, Alex, Larissa, Dan and Jordan.
August 11, 2026: Desjardins Insurance spent a sunny morning harvesting zucchini and peppers and weeding and digging up our first potatoes of the season. Thank you Eddy, Nicholas, Daniel, Jeremy, Lauriane, Amber, Paola, Jenny, Suzanne and George.
August 11, 2026: Assemble sent their current and future staff to help us weed the orchard, which was hidden away behind construction fencing for four months. Thank you to Sarah, Katherine, Oliver, Juniper, Ivy, Abigail, James, Jacqueline, Heather and Martha.
August 28, 2026: Carma Corp helped with the harvest to the local woman’s shelter.Thank you to Angelo Sara, Mitlesh and Rejeanne.
September 10, 2026: Thank to neighbour Celestica for volunteering in the garden after their original date got rained out. Shout out to Vandana, Fayad, Zephra, Abdulmoez, Carol, Farnaz, Jihoon, Jennifer, Tony, Danny, Edan, Regina, Tunde, Yashi and organizer Taha.
