April 21, 2026: Walt Disney Canada – Thank you to Grace, Abby and Dayna for braving the cold and rescuing the garlic, asparagus, snow peas, radish and spinach.

April 24, 2026: Identity Digital – A large group from our Park Home neighbourhood descended on the garden on a cold April morning. They whipped the North garden into shape by weeding, composting, trenching and then finally planting our 2026 potato crop. They also pruned the raspberries and fixed the fence posts and wire around each row of raspberries. Thank you to Judy, Samay, Alex, Jon-Paul, Kroopa, Gordon, Kaylee, Mojgan, Jorge, Chris, Chery, Shadi, Xiao and Jane.
April 28, 2026: Otsuka Canada Pharmaceutical Inc – Soggy but plucky! Garrett, Brad, Christi, Rola, Rudy, Dayne, Kelvin and Abdullah braved the rain to clean up the garden, tie up the south raspberry patch and start seeds for melons, pumpkins, okra, and flowers. Thank you!

May 1, 2026: Wawanesa Mutual Insurance – Sunny day but we sure tested this team by asking them to weed the strawberries and the “chickweed” bed. Thank you to Megan, Chris, Polina, Emma, Jasna, Laura, Levon, Martina, Umbreen, Baillie and Gladys for powering through and creating a lovely space for our tomatoes to be planted.
May 12, 2026: AMEX Global Business Travel visited the garden and weeded the tomato and pepper bed and set up the tomato trellises for planting. They also ran an extremely efficient wheelbarrow convoy of compost! Thank you to Allen, Alice, Yosra, Regina, Dini, Shivam, Samara, Emma, Lisa, Shauna, Jessica, Fred, Annette, Jenny, Charmaine, Rachel, Judith, Krish, Jackie, Mekedese, Deborah and Huaeid.
May 27, 2026: AstraZeneca Canada visited the garden and cleared a super weedy area and then planted kale, cabbage, chard, radishes and flowers. Thank you to Frances for organizing everyone, and her colleagues Cal, Nadim, Eon, Matthew, Silje, Ellie, Alex, Joseph and Grace. Shown here with PNG volunteers Kathy and Paul.
May 28, 2026: First Capital visited for the third consecutive year! Shout out to Angie, Ashik, Brian, Ellen, Elnaz, Gerard, Graeme, Helen, Jason, Kiarash, Linhui, Lisa, Manish, Mary, Mervin, Michael, Nadia, Niveda, Rommel and Manal. They tackled weed and grass compacted beds, clearing them completely, then planted okra, squash and flowers.
May 29, 2026: The Manulife Canadian Disability and Group Life team visited the garden, weeded and then planted squash and flowers, They also fixed some storm damage by tying up the raspberry canes again. And on top of that all, they are a full service group, because they come back in the Fall to cleanup! Thank you Heather, Pooja, Cameron, Dawn, Chelsea, Vanessa and Jeff.
June 2, 2026: Compugen interns were here on a hot afternoon June 2, weeding the strawberries and a vacant bed and then planting pole beans onto teepees. Thank you Stephanie, Abyan, Adil, Andrew, Claire, Matthew, Dan, Nathan, Shal, and Vruti.
June 4, 2026: Turner and Townsend, back again from 2025,bravely tackling the thistle patch. Jessie, Betul and Akanksha.
June 10, 2026 – GreenShield Canada – an exceedingly humid afternoon for weeding the north garden and tying up the raspberries but they got the job done despite the heat. The group also installed protective netting around the corn to deter bunnies. Thank you to Afaf, Akansha, Candice, Dan, Erich, Eva, Fady, Vidhula, Zara, and Mohammad.
June 16, 2026: Tundra Technical Solutions visited the garden and cleared weeds from our pathways and Three Sisters garden. They also helped harvest for the local woman’s shelter.Thank you to MD, Maddie, Eugene, Mateo, Grace, Katerina and Jessica.
