You may have noticed a lot more vertical growing going on in 2021 in the garden. This is due to a generous donation from Bill Divitcoff of TWISTYER Products Inc, a supplier of Vineyard, Orchard and Garden Tying Products.

Bill donated rolls of twine and huge spools of jute netting which we have used to great advantage to set up supports for pole beans and opo squash as well as protecting our garlic. Vertical growing is a way to pack more food production into the same space and protect produce from ground dwelling insects.
