A community garden located in North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our mission is to cultivate healthy, locally produced food and a dynamic, engaged community. Our garden will provide a welcoming space for sharing knowledge, promoting healthy lifestyles, and nurturing relationships. We will be guided by respect for diversity, the vital connections between social and ecological systems, and the historical farming significance of the garden site.
You've enjoyed watching our plants grow and flower; now enjoy tasting our ultra-local, organic produce!
Produce is for sale on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 7 to 9pm.
Please bring small bills or change and a reusable bag to carry your purchase home.
Gardening groups for 4 to 8 year-olds with their parents will now be held each Wednesday evening through July and August from 6:30 to 7:30. These sessions are free and will introduce children and their caregivers to the basics of growing and caring for vegetables, as well as some of the lore behind these plants.
Please pre-register with Jenn to join these groups through the "contact" link on the website. We look forward to sharing the garden with you and your children!
